Proceed on a city tour visiting the famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden (The arrangement of delight) Shalimar Garden (Adobe of adoration) and Chashmeshahi Garden. In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets. Night Stay at Hotel.
In the morning a warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast at hotel should get you ready for the day of activity, head toward Sonamarg. Sonamarg (90kms/Approx 02 hours drive one way). The drive is not very hectic as the scenic views will keep you occupied throughout the way. Majestic peaks in the backdrop, colourful flower-laden meadows makes this hill station a must-visit . You can opt for a pony ride to visit Thaijiwas Glaciers or by union cab (at your own cost) where snow remains round the year. Following this wonderful experience in the evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at houseboat in Srinagar.
Following breakfast in Hotel, head toward the enchanting valleys of Gulmarg. (64 km / Approx 2 Hours Drive- One Way) Known for its beauty and charm, and popularly known as the Meadow of Flowers, this place needs to be explored to truly experience its beauty. When here, take the famous Gulmarg gondola cable car ride (at your own cost), or embark on a short trek to Khilanmarg. Go on mountain rides and walk around and in the evening night stay at hotel.
Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam (140 Km / Approx. 3 Hour Drive - One Way)Enjoy this mesmerising drive through the scenic trails that connects gulmarg and Pahalgam. While en route, you might even get the opportunity to visit the saffron fields around En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam check- in to hotel & get fresh after check-in at hotel go for outing. Enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaran valley famously called mini switzerland, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers good view. Overnight Stay in pahalgam.
In the morning following with delicious breakfast at hotel should get you ready for the another day of activity. You will proceed for Aru valley, and chandanwari by union cab. Aru is small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine .Hajan and Beetab valley on the way to chandanwari. In the evening return to Srinagar. Night stay in hotel.
